Quick Start Checklist
- Don’t spend gems on units, they’ll be available for medals eventually
- Revive often, medals compound; don’t grind stages unnecessarily
- Pick one tribe, synergy matters more than individual unit power
- Build the Seed Maker early, essential for crop quality
- Join a guild ASAP, free resources from raids and wars
- Check your honor shop daily, new units rotate in
- Learn tribe weaknesses, Orc → Human → Elf → Undead → Orc
Team Building
Your team has two roles: Core units (your damage dealers, usually 1-2) and Support units (everyone else, buffing your cores). Don’t spread resources thin, invest heavily in your cores and fill the rest with supports that amplify them.
Tribe Synergy
Stick to one tribe, especially early. Mixed teams lose out on tribe-specific buffs that multiply your power. The meta shifts, but Elf and Undead have historically strong options for both core and support roles.
Tribe Weaknesses
Rock-paper-scissors for PvP and certain stages:
- Orc beats Human
- Human beats Elf
- Elf beats Undead
- Undead beats Orc
Note: Undead units are immune to freeze, useful info for specific encounters.
Top Support Units
The best supports provide speed buffs, stage skipping, or massive tribe damage bonuses. Key units to watch for:
- Fairy, 5% chance to skip stages, speed buff, tribe attack +300% at level 1200
- Dark Archer, Hits two targets, best PvP coin unit for stage clearing
- Priest, 5x speed every 10 levels, unfreeze, stun immunity

Resource Management
Gems: What NOT to Spend On
Gems are premium currency. Spend them wrong and you’ll regret it.
Never buy units with gems. Every unit eventually becomes available for medals. Patience pays off. Instead, spend gems on:
- Artifact slots
- Trans tickets (when available)
- Special event items
Medals: Priority Order
Medals are your main progression currency. Priority:
- Max your core unit(s)
- Level support units to key breakpoints (300, 1100, 1200 for skill unlocks)
- Unlock new units as they rotate into medal availability
Progression & Revival
The core loop: push stages → hit a wall → revive → collect medals → power up → push further. The question everyone asks: when should I revive?
Revival Timing
Revive when you can’t justify the time to reach the next medal milestone. Early game, this means reviving frequently, every 20-30 minutes of active play. Medal gains compound; hoarding stages doesn’t help if you’re stuck.
Key insight: You don’t need to beat a stage to get its revival medal bonus. Just reaching it counts.
Milestones That Matter
Stage 400 is where the game starts opening up. Push past it and you’ll see significant medal gains improve. After that, each +100 stages feels like meaningful progress.
Pets
Pets provide passive bonuses and can be game-changing once leveled. Farm pet fragments daily from the pet shop and spirit highlands.
Priority pets depend on your core unit’s tribe, look for pets that boost your main damage type. Speed-boosting pets are universally useful for faster stage clear.
Guilds
Join a guild immediately. Even a casual guild gives you access to:
- Guild Raids, Free resources
- Guild Wars, Competitive rewards
- Guild Shop, Exclusive purchases
Barracks Management
Before entering a war or raid, check your barracks. Know exactly what you’re fighting with. Train units in advance, if you wait for 20 SR Elf Archers to train, you’ll have them ready when it matters.
FAQ
Should I buy units with gems?
No. Every unit becomes available for medals eventually. Save your gems for artifacts and trans tickets.
When should I revive?
Whenever the time to reach the next medal milestone isn’t worth it. Early game, revive frequently. Medals compound, don’t hoard stages.
What tribe should I pick?
Elf and Undead are consistently strong. Pick one and commit, tribe synergy bonuses are too valuable to ignore.
Can Honor Shop units be bought with medals?
New units start honor-only, then move to gem-only, then finally medal-available. Patience wins.
Do I have to beat a stage to get revival medals from it?
No. Just reaching the stage counts for revival medal calculation.
